In a spirited celebration of language and culture, students from San Angelo ISD showcased their Spanish-word mastery at the 2nd Annual Education Service Center (ESC) Region 15 Spanish Spelling Bee, held on May 8. More than just a spelling contest, the event not only highlighted students’ language aptitude but also celebrated bilingualism and Hispanic heritage.
The San Angelo ISD Board of Trustees unanimously approved two leadership appointments for the 2025-2026 school year, reinforcing the district’s focus on academic excellence, safety, and community.
San Angelo ISD proudly hosted Manos a la Obra, a free and family-friendly community resource night on April 29 at Bradford Elementary. The event welcomed SAISD emergent bilingual students and their families for an evening filled with cultural celebration, vital community resources and hands-on support.
San Angelo ISD is proud to offer FREE STEM Camps for current students 2nd through 12th grade for the 2025–2026 school year. These camps are designed to spark curiosity, encourage problem-solving, and prepare students for future-ready learning – all in a fun and engaging environment!
We understand transitioning to middle school is a big change and an important step in students’ academic career. That’s why we are excited to offer our incoming 6th grade students an opportunity to “jump start” their middle school experience. Open to all incoming 6th graders, this program will help them to better understand what it means to be a middle school student and to feel prepared.
